New Product Launch | Kehua Liquid-Cooling Centralized Energy Storage PCS Debuts at ESIE

02 Apr 2026

From April 1st to 3rd, ESIE 2026 was grandly opened in Beijing. Kehua (booth A2-B01) showcased its full-scene solutions for optical storage and charging, dazzling attendees with cutting-edge technological achievements and rich practical applications in the field of smart energy. As a leader in the global high-power energy storage market, Kehua displayed several star products: 12.5MW, 10MW, and 5MW centralized energy storage power conversion and step-up units, as well as a 500kW liquid-cooling string-type PCS, covering various power levels and application scenarios.

The 12.5MW energy storage converter and step-up unit adopts an integrated 40-foot architecture, deeply integrating the PCS with medium-voltage transformers and RMUs, significantly enhancing system power density and effectively reducing the levelized cost of electricity over its lifecycle. The 10MW and 5MW units are specially developed for large-scale energy storage power stations, leveraging DC parallel technology to be compatible with various battery modules, enabling flexible and scalable system capacity.

In terms of compliance, the core PCS units have obtained authoritative certifications and grid access standards across Europe, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific regions. The 500kW liquid-cooling string-type PCS is designed specifically for integrated AC/DC systems, with an IP66 protection rating, capable of continuous full-power operation at extreme temperatures up to 50°C. It supports flexible integration of battery cells ranging from 300Ah to 600Ah and above. Both power and cooling circuits are plug-and-play, greatly reducing on-site installation and maintenance time.

Pioneering a 6MW+ Energy Storage Future

With a forward-looking vision, Kehua is positioning itself at the market's forefront by launching a 3.15MW/3.5MW liquid-cooling centralized energy storage PCS and integrated solutions, aiming to create a new era of high-yield, high-safety, and robust energy storage systems. These new products feature liquid cooling, network construction technology, top-side air exhaust design, modularization, and upgraded power drive control algorithms. They enhance safety, economy, and flexibility, improving cycle efficiency, lifespan, energy density, dispatch response, and grid support, ultimately optimizing LCOS (Levelized Cost of Storage).

Operationally, the new products have achieved comprehensive intelligent upgrades, including airflow self-cleaning to significantly reduce manual labor, modular design for quick fault repair within 30 minutes, one-click OTA firmware upgrades for the entire station, and standard features like insulation monitoring and copper busbar temperature detection, ensuring long-term safe operation.

Diverse Product Portfolio for All Scenarios

Through a diversified product matrix, Kehua connects the global markets with four core exhibition zones: international export, energy storage innovation, photovoltaic manufacturing, and liquid-cooling ultra-charging. It offers high-safety, high-reliability solutions for ground power stations, industrial and commercial, and residential applications.

In the Energy Storage Innovation Zone, Kehua presents star products that cover both centralized and modular technical routes, including:

6.25MW/6.9MW grid-connected centralized energy storage converter and step-up unit, supporting grid support and large-scale or shared storage scenarios.

430kW modular energy storage inverter and 6.25MW modular energy storage converter, designed for rapid deployment, easy maintenance, system longevity, and increased project returns.

These products feature virtual inertia, damping control, and droop control, aligning with diverse grid operation needs and providing stronger grid support.

In the Photovoltaic Manufacturing Zone, highlights include Kehua’s new high-power 465kW string inverter designed for large-scale PV plants, supporting 5.6MW sub-array scenarios, with industry-first 1600V design, N+2 long string connection, multiple MPPTs, and advanced safety features like intelligent cleaning, health monitoring, and anti-icing. It’s optimized for harsh environments such as high temperature, sandstorms, salt fog, and weak grids, ensuring high output, reliability, and ease of maintenance.

On April 1st, Kehua and Trina Solar jointly held the AIDC (AI Data Center) full-scenario integration solution launch, deepening strategic cooperation on energy digitization and green computing infrastructure. They announced a comprehensive solution combining source-grid-load-storage and AIDC computing infrastructure, aiming to break through energy bottlenecks, reduce costs, and achieve zero-carbon transformation for AI data centers. Leveraging Trina’s advantages in battery and system integration and Kehua’s nearly 40 years of power electronics experience and extensive data center practice, the partnership aims to build a "green power supply, efficient energy storage, and intelligent operation" ecosystem, fostering deep integration of energy storage and computing power.

The exhibition continues to showcase Kehua’s commitment to technological innovation, offering more high-quality, diverse products and solutions to create value for customers and drive China’s and the global energy transition.
