The T3B Terminal of Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, the world's largest single satellite terminal in terms of floor area, has officially commenced operations. With an annual passenger throughput capacity of 80 million, a runway count ranking among the top in the country, an annual cargo throughput of 1.2 million tons, and 580,000 aircraft movements, the airport is set to become a global aviation powerhouse.
For a critical aviation hub like an airport, power outages are absolutely unacceptable. Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, as one of the most crucial safety assurance devices in the entire aviation system, directly impact the airport's ability to operate stably, reliably, and efficiently. The T3B Terminal and the Fourth Runway Project place high demands on the UPS systems' reliability and service responsiveness, requiring not only strong brand capabilities from suppliers but also top-tier product performance and extensive successful application experience.
Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport features complex and diverse electrical equipment with high power loads, placing extremely high demands on the stability and safety of the power supply system. Based on customer needs, Kehua has tailored nearly 40 sets of modular UPS systems for various application scenarios, including the T3B Terminal's power and weak current systems, centralized monitoring systems, apron control towers, and T3A baggage handling systems, ensuring seamless and worry-free operation of the airport's power supply system.
Kehua's modular UPS systems, known for their "safety, reliability, green and low-carbon, and intelligent simplicity," have received widespread acclaim from customers and are extensively used in industries such as civil aviation, ports, transportation, finance, and government. The modular redundant design avoids single points of failure, supports online hot-swapping, and allows for maintenance and replacement in just five minutes. With AI⁺ health monitoring and AI⁺ operation and maintenance, the system transforms "passive response" into "active operation and maintenance," ensuring safety, reliability, and energy efficiency. It confidently meets the various challenges of the airport's complex operational scenarios, fully satisfying the airport's requirements for the safety, reliability, and continuity of load power supply, and ensuring that critical loads remain online 24/7.
Throughout the long-term cooperation process, Kehua's professional technical service team has left a deep impression on the airport's management. During the project, the Kehua team demonstrated a spirit of tackling challenges head-on, working tirelessly and effectively to solve customer issues.
