Recently, the Jiangsu Fengchu Phase II 100MW/200MWh shared energy storage power station project in China successfully connected to the grid. With this, the total scale of the Jiangsu Fengchu shared energy storage power station has reached 300MW/600MWh, setting a new record for energy storage capacity in Jiangsu Province and making it the largest shared energy storage power station in the region.
Project Overview
·Capacity: 100MW/200MWh
·Solution: Kehua 1725kW energy storage inverters integrated into a 3.45MW PCS and MV transformer solution
·Location: Nantong, Jiangsu, China
The project adopts Kehua 1725kW three-phase energy storage inverters, integrated into a 3.45MW PCS and MV transformer solution. The energy storage inverters feature a modular design with flexible configuration. This makes them suitable for various energy storage applications on the generation side, grid side, and user side. They have a high protection level and C5-grade corrosion resistance. Additionally, the intelligent forced air cooling design provides multiple protections. This ensures stable and safe operation of the power station, even in high temperature and high humidity environments.
The solution has performed excellently in multiple projects, achieving a maximum conversion efficiency of 99.03% and ensuring stable output at full power for 1500V. The product adopts an integrated design of PCS and transformer," with a unified external communication interface, resulting in fewer devices and a smaller footprint. This integrated delivery facilitates transportation, installation, debugging, and operation and maintenance, effectively reducing LCOS costs and providing greater value to customers.
The grid connection of the Phase II project effectively enhances the local grid's regulation capability. It meets the demand for electricity regulation during peak usage in urban areas. With a household's daily electricity consumption of 10 kWh, this energy storage power station can support approximately 60,000 households for one day with a single charge and discharge cycle. This provides strong support for the region's power supply.
Kehua will take this opportunity to continue deepening its efforts in the energy storage technology field, optimizing products based on market demand, and providing global customers with more efficient, reliable, and innovative energy solutions. This will help customers maximize value and contribute to building a safer, more stable, and greener ecosystem.
