Kehua WiseAisle 8.0 Supports High-Density AI Computing at Tsinghua University

07 Sep 2026

Kehua's WiseAisle 8.0 Modular Data Center Solution has been deployed at the AI computing equipment-room project of Tsinghua University's Beijing National Research Center for Information Science and Technology (BNRist).

By aligning power and cooling with computing demand, the solution provides a secure, stable and energy-efficient computing foundation for frontier research.

Meeting High-Density Research Computing Needs

BNRist undertakes research in fundamental information science and disruptive technologies.

As AI computing workloads continue to increase, so does the power density of individual racks. Conventional equipment rooms can struggle to support research workloads efficiently under these conditions.

At the same time, energy efficiency has become an important measure of data center performance. For platforms supporting frontier research, green and lower-carbon operation is both an operational requirement and a necessary part of sustainable future development.

Aligning Power and Cooling with Computing Demand

The WiseAisle 8.0 Modular Data Center Solution combines high-density infrastructure with integrated cooling and power. It uses a modular UPS system to support the power requirements of high-density AI computing and provide reliable support for frontier research.

High-efficiency modular UPS systems and variable-speed precision air conditioners operate in coordination. Together with an AI-enabled smart energy system, they form a three-layer cycle of sensing, control and action to dynamically optimize energy efficiency across operating scenarios.

This improves power utilization while helping reduce air-cooling energy consumption, supporting safer and lower-carbon research computing.

Faster Delivery and Intelligent Operations

Research platforms often require computing resources to be brought online quickly, expanded over time and managed efficiently. Long delivery cycles, complex commissioning and difficult operations and maintenance can directly affect research progress.

With its highly prefabricated and modular design, WiseAisle 8.0 can complete delivery of a single micro-modular unit in as few as 2.5 days, enabling computing resources to be deployed as required.

For daily operations, a 4K high-definition screen with AI-enabled capabilities supports energy-saving optimization of cooling and power systems, equipment health analysis and early warning, three-phase power imbalance management, and alarm-handling assistance.

Site-wide 3D visualization and monitoring of power and environmental systems help simplify the operation and maintenance of complex equipment-room environments.
