In last month, a 10 years old solar system in Southern California was retrofitted by replacing with high efficiency Kehua 60kW UL compliant inverters, to boost up the power generation. Due to the aging impact on this old system, our client had faced some severe problems: low power generation, the difficult of O&M, the increasing of downtime, etc. All these are harmful to the profit of solar facility and cause cash-flow lost.

This existing solar rooftop was built with 600V architecture which is no longer seen in current C&I application, so it brings problem of complying with the nec code while ensuring the 1000V inverter works within MPP range to maximum power generation. Thanks to the wide MPPT range of Kehua SPI series inverter, this problem has gone and the new PV system is now operating in high efficiency. A LCD display panel on inverter gives our client an easy access to operate the inverter and check its real time working status, also good for O&M service provider doing the job.
